Project consisted the site adaptation and construction of Afghan Defense University (ADU) 15kV Power Transmission Lines and Electrical Distribution System in Qargha, Kabul, Afghanistan. The project started on 21 June 2010 and completed by February 2011. Our company carried over all engineering, installation and delivery of the works defined by the project scope. Material had been purchased from Turkey as well as locally.
Project scope includes:
- Manufacturing, transportation and installation of twenty-three (23) step-down transformer substations
- Building service connections
- Fourteen (14) km of 15kV overhead power transmission line including concrete poles, Olive (587mm2) and Cherry (120mm2) overhead conductor.
- Thirteen (13) km of perimeter lighting system including 5m galvanized lighting poles, 250W floodlights, cabling and installations.
- Underground low voltage electrical distribution works including conduit placement, cabling and connection to building panels.
